Modified Tandem Appliances

Modified Tandem Appliance (MTA)  是設計作為治療 生長發育期中的Class III 患者. 這樣

的設計因為裝戴在口內較其他的裝置舒適，一般簡易的MTA包含三個部份一個上顎裝置(活

動或固定)一個下顎裝置固定或活動及一個牽引用的面弓。

一般牙醫師較少製作功能性矯正裝置、止鼾器......對於製作用咬腊難免較不順手
 
1.請先確定功能性裝置，您所要的上下顎前後及垂直位置一般為edge t o edge open 2mm，或為將來(前後overjet及垂直overbite)需要調整的量，(A-P改變太大，下巴向前量太多可分兩次製作，以免病人過於酸痛不戴)

這個case 固定裝置已經黏上去，並矯正做到一定程度了，接下來配合Twin Block來治療，就如
activator....一般先將牙弓排列再裝戴功能性矯正裝置，Clasp主要用ball clasp

With the Functional Mandibular Advancer (FMA) a newly fixed and rigid appliance for the non-compliance correction of Class II discrepancies has been developed.
Essential elements of this Herbst alternative are protrusive bars and inclined planes, which are fixed on cast splints or bands on the vestibular sides of the posterior teeth.

這是FORESTADENT一個增加TWIN -BLOCK下顎前凸量的附件，在很久以前就知道這附件，一直到有一醫師交給我在其所做的TWIN-BLOCK加上，不知道一組多少錢，應該問一下傑基公司。
這裡是動畫看了就知道 英文就不翻了
